Linda Tilley

I have been a counselor for 3 decades. I am a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta, Canada. I also am a Clinical Counseling Hypnotherapist and a Level 1 BWRT™ practitioner.

Through my years of counseling I have dealt with a number of different specialty areas, including childhood abuse, sexual offending, youth justice, child welfare, educational assessment and consulting, highly sensitive people, and couple counseling.

My current areas of special interests center most around neurodevelopmental disorders (especially ADHD in adults), workplace bullying, trauma, relationships, and recovery from childhood abuse.

I have a very pragmatic approach to counseling. My main approaches include humanistic, gestalt, psychoanalytic and interpersonal paradigms. However, I also use techniques such as hypnosis and BWRT™ when appropriate, and I am excited by the neuropsychotherapeutic paradigm, as it seems to be helping us to understand why therapy works. Apart from therapy, however, I also will support clients in whatever way I think might be helpful: suggestions regarding diet, exercise and supplements, behavioral activation, meditation, and whatever else seems appropriate at the time.

I started CambiumEd as a way to share with others the wisdom that I have gained from my clients over the years. I hope that if you decide to use any of these resources, you will find them as helpful as I have.
